About the Role:
As a Senior Account Executive at FCR, you’ll play a leading role in supporting and advising our clients with expert communication services. You’ll be the day-to-day contact for some of Australia’s best companies, helping to advise on best practice communications to enhance and protect shareholder value. At FCR, you’ll join an experienced team working with local and global clients to build engaging and lasting stories.
What you’ll do each day:
Monitor media, markets and government to track industry trends and stories, delivering real-time insights to clients in Australia and across APAC.
Draft press releases, investor materials, and corporate communications that are written with clarity and designed to deliver results.
Assist with developing financial communications, annual reports, and investor presentations on behalf of senior executives.
Develop and share original ideas and research insights for organic client growth, with the support of senior team members to meet client objectives.
Liaise with clients, journalists, investors and advisers to build relationships that support client objectives and engagement plans.
Engage with investors and the media to attend client events including briefings, AGMs and conferences for clients as needed.
What we need:
Minimum 2+ years' experience in investor relations, financial PR, financial journalism, or corporate communications, with experience performing as the day-to-day lead on client accounts. Candidate with less experience may be considered for alternative position with FCR.
Evidence of strong understanding of financial markets, investment trends, corporate communications and Australia’s corporate media environment.
A bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, communications or other relevant field, or relevant practical experience.
A demonstrated ability to deliver strong consistent results for clients via a passion for storytelling, building relationships, providing top-tier service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills designed for a professional corporate setting.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced office and at-home environment.
Strong team player with desire to actively coordinate on work in a team environment, requiring strong interpersonal skills.
